The recently happened congested in Johor checkpoint and Tuas second link finally resolved! It was the great initiatives taken by Immigration Department in Malaysia.
First, they (Immigration) will randomly pick and scan fingerprint via biometric system. Secondly, they will also provide a sticker and attach it in the passport, so that it will expedite the clearance next time.
Well done!
The recent (June’11) implemented biometric system by Malaysia immigration department have making the traffic flowing to Johor jammed and it took them more than 3 hours in. The queue.
Since they (immigration department) knew about this matter, and promise to overcome it soonest. But until now, it’s getting worse. What happened to them? It was dragged more than 2 weeks.
As reported by local Malaysia news and according to immigration depart, it was a minor issue and only happen in JB causeway and Tuas secondlink. (What a stupid answer).
We as Malaysia citizen was very disappointed. Hopefully they something before too late.
